About three miles north of Gadhinglaj taluka, there is village deity and chief temple of Bhairi( incarnation of Lord Mahadeva). Every year on ‘Chitra Pournima’(Full moon night), the Hindus Calendar 15th day of the first month, a fair is held attended by about 10000 devotees. This temple built of rubble and mortar 30’ x 20’ x 30’ high.
